Private Security Firms

After some "unlawful" killings by 2 private security firms in Iraq?

Do readers here think that they should be all banned and sent home and leave security to the Iraqi police and the troops that are already there. My opinion that these guys are cowboys with very little if any training.At least the troops there are well trained in circumstances like this.

1. Yes, why are they needed at all? Surely the military could provide all the security that is needed. These people operate outside the law. It is scandalous that the US military uses them at all.
2. Yes... give task to IRAQI ARMY. The IRAQ WAR has been going on for nearly 4 years. Almost long enough for a person to get through WEST POINT. And I don't know how many cycles of advanced infantry school. Can't the IRAQIS do ANYTHING?
3. Well, I have no real opinion since I know that all we know is media filtered information. Overall, I think everyone needs to leave and see what happens. If terrorist reappear, send minimal troops in, kick their asses, and leave again. It would cost less money to fly there on a daily basis with 100 guys than keep 1000's of troops there.
