Las Vegas TV show--Are the jobs of Danny and them real security jobs?
I know television shows make everything seem better than they are, but i still think a security job at a casino would be cool. Are what Danny and them do on the show real jobs available in Las Vegas? Is Las Vegas a good place to live?

- You asked the right person because I'm in Las vegas right now! Yeah they have jobs like that in Vegas! It is, Las Vegas is the fastest growing city in America! Hotel jobs pay 10 dollars an hour at the least!
- Yep they're real jobs and yep they're just as high tech as you see on the show. If you're looking to get a job like that you better plan on having a pretty extensive background in security and law enforcement. A military background is helpful to. Usually these jobs are offered / taken by ex FBI, CIA or military security personnel. Unless you have this type of background don't plan on scoring one of these gigs anytime soon...
- Security officers are a real job at the casinos. I'm not quite usre how that translates to the show, but, all casinos have there own security force. I like Las Vegas, but I'm a little prejudiced.
- I'm a security officer for a Casino here in Vegas, people have no clue what goes on behind the scene. It's very interesting job, stressful some days and very hectic but a lot of fun. Any where from counterfeit bills and checks, to busting "High End" call girls, helping out Metro (local police) hunt someone down, and busting con's trying to make a quick buck the wrong way. Don't be fooled thinking being a casino security officer is a dull and boring job, it's far from that. Get in to the right casino and you can easy, work your way up in security. P.S I'm not an ex FBI, CIA or military security...................
