Jobs with long term security?

I was wondering if anyone could give me a list of jobs that are in demand now and have long term job security? I am thinking about going into criminal justice.

2. Well being as this is in the Military section, generally the Military has very good security (minus being shot at on occasion). Health care is a huge one, Law enforcement is reasonable.
