Are BlackWater And Other Private Security Firms Really The Monsters The Media Makes Them Out To Be?
For some reason, the presence of private security in the current war, such as BlackWater and Haliburton, have long been criticized by the media, politicians, and some military. Some say they are basically hired thugs with no regards to law, some say they are causing more problems over there, some say they are not needed and we should leave the war to the military... What do you think about these private security?

- I dont care the more Blackwater the leass soldiers have to be in Iraq and knowbody cares if they die because they get paid alot more than soldiers
- As in most organizations, there always are some "bad eggs" that continually disregard the law. They will go to the extreme until the law finally steps in and puts a stop to it. They are no different than our police forces here (however our press makes sure they stay within our laws).
- Your'e forgetting war is unpleasant. In this case you are probably getting one side of the story on these incidents. Remember you have a very liberal media, anything will be exposed to the american people that sheds a negative light on this war. Have an open mind and get all the facts.
- No they're not monsters, just who do you think "the media" hires to protect them in places like Iraq?
- honestly that is a load of crap, these guys are required to be X military or Law enforcement and they are taking the most dangerous of missions compared to regular military because they are getting payed a lot more. Most Black water members are payed up to $300,000 a year. Keep in mind they are given the most difficult and dangerous missions that are out there. They are not monsters they are hired to complete there mission and that is all. They die like everybody else, they are all human. They are only X military personnel, that are better trained, trying to make more money. It is very hard to qualify and to be employed at Black water but to be one is as just a great honor as serving regular military. Black water does not serve the top bidder like many think, they only serve the US and its allies and most of NATO forces.
