- Many government branches use dogs for security and drug enforcement but they aren't exactly the highest security jobs there are, certainly not spies usually, but who knows. Most of your higher security jobs require some form of law enforcement or government securities back ground before you will even be able to test for the job, the government likes tests for their agencies. There are two schools of thought on getting into these areas though, first in through police and military channels, this will get you training in arms usage and often enforcement also, second is through agencies. FBI, CIA, and agencies like them do higher from within, but the easiest jobs to get in the agencies are clerk type jobs and that will stick you behind a desk indefinitely because you're not getting the proper training. One thing that you must know is high security jobs for the government requires a very broad background in educations, foreign languages, arms, international affairs, and law enforcement are major pluses in the fields because of what the jobs entail.
