how to work for a private security company in iraq?

Do you have to be former military? Does knowing arabic help? What about taking weapons classes through blackwater? Thanks.

  1. While being ex-military and knowing arabic are both a definite plus, I'd imagine you could probably apply with a background in law enforcement or something too and possibly get a job with them.

  3. Listen, there is a link with info all the major companies. Don't get hung up on Blackwater. They normally only want mature, ex-special op folks. You can get para-military training from all kind of places just by searching but you never know what you might get. The military is the best place. Join the Army or the Marines and come in infantry. Learning Arabic is a definite plus! And most of these places WANT prior service, but it isn't mandatory. A resume will get you in the good. apply to several. If the military is not yor cup of tea to join, then scroll down to the bottom of the link and look at the companies. Go to their websites and see which ones you match up for. But still learning Arabic will be a plus and increase your pay anywhere in the civvie sector. I knew guys making $175,000 a year, but they were high end operators, protecting VIPS and looking for big time bad guys. Bounses come with good, mature work. Sometimes you might just be checking i.d.s at a gate or riding on a convoy as escort, but you will make alot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_military_company
  4. Why would you want to work for these disgusting terror groups? They kill civilians and get away with it. They shoud be kicked out and made bankrupt.
  5. Contractors like Blackwater USA hire only former military, and usually only those with infantry or special ops skills.
